Three Spirit Spark review

Updated: Jun 23, 2024

Three Spirit GB are purveyors of feelgood booze-free alternatives to spirits and wines. Packing their drinks with mood lifters derived from nature's bounty, they contain adaptogens which relief stress and contribute to overall wellbeing - in this case guayusa and schisandra.

Described as a 'functional wine alternative', Spark looks more like an fruity ale when poured. The aroma and initial flavour is summer fruits - and as it contains a blend of fermented teas, dealcoholised wine and wine tannin - it has an enjoyable complexity. A hit of cayenne tingles the lips and palate, finished with the sumptuous aftertaste of strawberries.

Spark boasts to be the party starter and it got the husband's approval, who even said it's the best AF drink we've sampled so far. It's up there for me too.

Decent alcohol-free drinks can be on the expensive side because of the ingredients and the amount of different processes it takes to make them. No surprise then that this is priced at £16.99 a bottle.
