Sentia Gold

Functional elixir experts Sentia have released the third iteration of their GABA Spirit. This time is definitely the charm as the flavour is bang on. It reminds me of orange and lime TicTacs, and is perfectly complemented with an array of fruity mixers or a simple tonic.

The litmus test came when I handed a Gold and mixer to two non-sober friends and they both gave an 'hmm' of approval. We then hit up The House of Happiness for a joyous afternoon of booze-free dancing, so endorphin levels were high.

Priced at £32.00, there is no getting around the fact that Sentia is expensive. They say you are paying for the science behind a two drink buzz minus the downside. Personally, I've reached a point in my sobriety I'm not so reliant on the safety net of AF alternatives, so maybe this is a splurge too far. An afternoon of bouncing around to house music seems to do the job just fine.
