Botivo review

Updated: Oct 15

Adding a touch of sophistication to sobriety, Botivo is a mainstay on many low and no alcohol drinks menu. It has a complex flavour profile of herbal, bittersweet and citrus that can be used for a variety of drinks, both alcohol-free or boozy. A concoction of all natural ingredients and made in small batches, it's no surprise that it's £26.95. However, the flavour is on another piquancy and a little goes a long way.

Botivo and soda is a superior serve as it is. However, to celebrate 5 months of sobriety, I embraced my inner mixologist and tried my hand at the AF recipes on Botivo's website. The favourite was Apple Sour, a mix of apple juice, ginger and clove infusion, egg white and Botivo. It was was great excuse to dust off the cocktail shaker, and I actually used less Botivo on the second round.

Botivo is a touch of class in a glass. This is an alcohol-free aperitif you will actually crave.
